Bionic Panda Games is a casual, social, & mobile gaming start up.
Furthermore, BPG is an original IP, multi-mobile-platform social gaming company as we expand into the iOS space.
Being a revenue-driving company, we have lots of cash!
We are seeking gaming engineers – to help create a new gaming experience on the Android & iOS platforms.

Check out our current openings:
http://www.bionicpandagames.com/

Our first game, Aqua Pets, is a hit and we’d like to expand our team with more talented professionals.
We’re less than a year old and have grown to a dozen people strong during that time.
Based on the market demand for our product, we expect to have 25 employees by summer… so it’s a great time to join!

About us:
We are co-founded by social gaming veterans.
We are a group of gaming professionals whose goal is to create unique gaming experiences that we all can be proud of.
We consider all employees to be a “game designer” at some level (there is always opportunity for anyone to take an idea and run with it).
We feel that creativity (and not cloning) is where the magic starts and data-driven analysis is how it improves.
We are seed-funded (pre-series A) by top tier investors and have plenty of runway.

We are looking for:
You have technical abilities combined with creative juices and are looking for a fun & open environment.
You want ownership of your games and projects.
You want to break into or continue your mobile Android and iOS career.
You understand casual, free-to-play games.
You want to join a promising start-up that can offer a good chunk of equity (11 employees)

Now that we have teams formed, pitches complete, and GDDs forming nicely, we can now schedule our sprints. I have posted the schedule for the rest of the semester. Note that there will be 5 sprints. Four 3-week sprints, and a 1-week sprint where the teams exchange games to add achievements. Our discussions on game development and business from the Game Development book and our discussions on people, teams, and workplace environments from Peopleware are on the schedule with the expectations for reading completion.

Teams may not start sprints until the GDDs are completed and your projects have received the GREEN LIGHT. However, do prepare for your kickoff meetings for next class. When you believe your GDDs to be ready, please send me email.
